The new wing of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum opened about two weeks ago. Ever since I heard about the new concert hall, I wanted to see it and today was our chance.
We went to hear George Li play. He’s a local (from Lexington, MA), played beautifully, and couldn’t have been nicer. Here he is with Leo, who wanted to meet him.
You could hear a pin drop (or a cell phone ring, or a museum button drop, as the case may be). The interior reminds me of an old opera house.
