Highlights of the day: Leo sleeping until 6:30 am, his joy at getting an am/fm radio kit, taking hot oatmeal to the horse, new walkie-talkies that reach all the way to the pond, cousins and the 2011 Hess truck for all of them, building Lego and Erector set at the dessert table, floating the Lego boat in the tub, a great time playing “Catchphrase.”
Whereas his older brother Finn just ate the peppermint stick, Donncha gets the hang of this on his first try. Well, almost. The movie shows a little confusion about what you are supposed to do, but he does eventually get the hang of it.
Just a few quick ones here — it was an early Christmas with Mary and an early birthday for Nigel.
