The kids running after the pickup truck — I don’t know why.

Melissa and baby Henry

See how far they walked???

Malia and Lucette

Leo and Kristen (thanks Lucette!)
I sprung Leo from kindergarten early so we could go visit a B-24 and a B-17 at the Beverly Airport. Here are some photos of the visit. They are part of the Collings Foundation tour. I don’t want to know any more about them, but the planes were cool. I liked seeing some of the 4000 feet of wire strung around pulleys to keep things moving in the right direction.

The B-24 "Witchcraft" (not the original "Witchcraft", actually)

Leo in the bomb bay — skinny people only allowed on these planes!

Big tail-thingies and a machine gun

Leo at the machine gun.

Self portrait in the spinner of the B-24. You can see the B-17 on the side. You can also have a coffee table made from one of these.
Leo turned six on Labor Day — here are some photos of the fun day.

Leo, Silky Bear and Finn — Finn gave Leo a customized, hand-painted ladder

King Leo! This was his idea for his party’s theme.

Well, actually, now it’s fall instead of spring, and it’s three and a half years later, but the light was almost identical. Thanks, house — you’ve been great to us!
